Research: PAINT THE SKY WITH STARS by Jordan Saunders

Use a quote to give hint.

Starting with sky (abstract element) to interest viewer.

Put the character in the rule of third position, but with no other object on the frame, only a bright light to the face of character, so the viewer can focus on her face.
Then zoom out to the scene so that the viewer can see where she is but understand she is the main subject in the scene.

Use light and black and white colour to create a strange/horror atmosphere.
Timescale with no movement of the actor to explain she is “different” with others.

Slow shaking motion – she is in a bus.
Reflection from moving water – something interfering her.

Use still image to transparencies the character.
Use different people to wear mask to show she is not the only one, but she is the only one step forward.

Use costume to show the difference.
When she take the mask off, frame become colour – it is Semiotics.
